How to Keep Your Skin Glowing Through Winter
By Rachel Kim
Winter weather can leave your skin feeling dry, dull, and irritated. The combination of cold outdoor air and indoor heating strips moisture from your skin barrier, making a solid skincare routine more important than ever.
Start with a gentle, hydrating cleanser. Avoid harsh foaming cleansers that strip natural oils. Look for ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and glycerin that attract and lock in moisture.
Exfoliate wisely — once or twice a week is enough. Over-exfoliating in winter can compromise your skin barrier and cause redness and sensitivity. A gentle enzyme exfoliant or a mild AHA works best.
Layer your hydration. Apply a hydrating serum while your skin is still damp, follow with a rich moisturizer, and seal everything in with a facial oil if your skin is very dry. Do not skip sunscreen — UV rays are still present in winter.
Professional facials make a huge difference during the colder months. Our Hydrating Facial at Luna Nails & Beauty includes deep cleansing, serum infusion, and a moisture-locking mask that restores your skin's radiance in just one session.
Book a facial with Rachel this winter and give your skin the nourishment it deserves. Your spring glow starts with winter care.
